Edmund St James offers some correspondence relating to investment opportunities which may be of interest to those seeking such opportunities.

On 24 March 2008 Mr Obi K'wan K'wan Kanobi wrote:-

Dear Mr St James,

You have been chosen for a wonderful and unique investment opportunity.

Let me introduce myself and this opportunity. My name is Obi K'wan K'wan Kanobi. I am a most respectable and honest man. I was formerly Chief Sub-Deputy Accountant of the Kano Central Agricultural State Bank of Nigeria. Due to civil unrest two years ago the whole of the deposit of this bank, a total sum of 150 million United States dollars, was transferred to a private bank in Switzerland.

Unfortunately, the same civil strife then led to the defenstration of all the senior management of the bank. I am now the only person who can access this secret account.

However, for this, I need a small sum of a mere $100,000 to cover all necessary expenses. If you can provide this sum then I can guarantee you within a week a several thousand percentage return.

All you need to do to access this wonderful opportunity is to send me your credit card details with despatch. I will do all the rest.

I appreciate you may not wish thus to trust some one you do not know. This is a genuine offer and you may seek information on my credentials and reassurances from my associates in New Zealand, who have worked on numerous occasions with such financial luminaries as the most respectable Mr Rod Petrevic and Mr Mark Bryers. Their names are available on request. Ask and I shall send.

But first, make haste to take advantage of this unrepeatable opportunity. A small investment now and you will soon be a wealthy man.

Yours with integrity,

Mr Obi K'wan K'wan kanobi
(former)Chief Sub-Deputy Accountant
Kano Agricultural State Bank of Nigeria

Dear Mr Obi K'wan K'wan Kanobi,

This sounds like an excellent opportunity indeed. I must thank you gratefully for bringing it to my attention.

I would not hesitate for a moment to take it up, but, unfortunately, at this moment I lack spare money for investment. Several months ago I was approached by Paramount Chief Mgungu, of Iboki Province, who offered me, for a mere $250,000, the chance to join in the search for the missing gold deposits of the Ibo State Industrial Bank of Nigeria. This chance was what they say a dead certainty, and obviously too good an opportunity to miss.

I therefore immediately cashed in my superannuation fund, and mother's annuity, and sold much of my stamp collection - retaining only the most secure of my investments, namely my Bridgecorp and Blue Chip debentures - and sent the money off. While I have not heard from Chief Mgungu for six weeks now, I have absolutely no doubt at all he is at this very moment busy in the jungle on his search, and will report success soon.

Once I have this money in hand I will, providing your generous offer is still open, have no hesitation at all in obliging with a substantial investment. Once again, with many thanks.

I am yours sincerely,
Edmund St James.
